Therapy Meets Art

“Just Enough Space”

What It Is:

Art has a special way of helping us express the things that sometimes get stuck in normal processing. This is especially true with tough-to-master concepts like boundaries in relationships. This Therapy-Meets-Art Workshop will help us with self-expression related to boundaries and the ways we’ve learned to connect in relationships. Some of us find ourselves uncomfortable with space (needing lots of closeness to feel safe), while others of us find ourselves needing lots of distance. We’re looking for the “just right” experience of “Just Enough Space”—space for us to maintain our full Selves, while also being close enough to others to get our relational needs met.

This workshop will focus on this sweet spot, inviting you to imagine, then artistically represent this healthy space. We’ll use images from your own timeline (start collecting them!), and combine them with different creative art modalities. Think collaging-meets-boundary-work with a twist.
